had yec retreat yest and its pretty good =) had tag paintball, a totally fresh experience and its really worth the price n the wait man! haha....once i got onto the battle ground, my heart pumped faster...when the siren sounded for us to charge foward, i totally lost myself, not sure where i was, where my enemies were but juz shoot and shoot....shoot for the adrenaline of shooting and 2nd priority was hopefully i would hit the enemies...haha....well definitely it was after a 2 half rounds that i warm up...before which i was sorta hiding in the tower shooting and got scolded for shooting too little...haha....oopS! but luckily there was the CS experts, weihan and kaixiong, who were the brave and smart ones to plan strategies and charge forward to win the mission and my group got first! hahah.....anyway as if to maintain my record, i got sabo-ed again o.O i got attacked by jit jin and jeff....argh....double combo man...diaO they were unhappy that i was still clean after the whole game so they started smearing the paints on me...and of course i retailiated and the sabo-ing continued =.= anyway i didnt lose out much...they got even dirtier than me....hahaha....^^V but guess the most unlucky person has to be calvin...hahaha.....hopefully he's better
after that headed for superbowl marina for 2 games of bowling....wasnt really keen on bowling as usual...after which ended with a steamboat buffet...haha...at the end of the day we had a bus to fetch us back to clementi mrt and most of us concluded it felt like a one day tour...hahaha....diaO anyway after that chiong night show with kaixiong n zhengyang. was pretty excited to watch death note 2 but after a while into the show i got into a daze....guess it was partly coz i was tired but i found the show slightly below my expectation. perhaps its juz me...haha...the other two had their own way to enjoy the show....haha...anyway after that we shared a cab to go home...haha....its pretty interesting coz its actually my 1st time taking a cab home w friends late at night...normally there would be drivers around...haha....received a nice sms when i got home to end off the fun day too =)
spent my whole day painting my house today! hahah....its another new experience man! didnt noe painting can be so tiring yet fun. it was really exciting when we started painting my room with my sis and we saw how our dull room transformed into a bright cheery shade of tangerine! =) had wanted to draw a sun and rearrange our furniture but didnt have the time to do so coz i have to rush out to help in ayer rajah countdown event. went there to distribute goodies with jeremy and veron.
thats all for the end of the year. pretty nice new experience and hopefully there will be lots more to come in the new year. resolution for next year? haven really think abt it but i'll be 21 next year! hahaha....cant believe how times passed and how i aged =.= diaO anyway gona slog like a cow for the next 1 month, esp the next 2 weeks, for all my proj deadline and presentation and everything...omg...i want to escape...i want to throw away all the work...i wan to play but play juz seem to be a guilty thing....haiX...to all my friends,....if i disappear for this period of time, pls do not blame me...

had a great christmas this year! =)

met up with my poly mates @ chinatown for gift exchange and catch up. had wanted to k ge but it was too expensive so we went to coffee bean to slack instead. it was really nice seeing them, sharing stories and listening to their stories...encouraging and supporting each other to move on...seeing that this will be a group of people whom i might be working with in future, im grateful for that...its really warm that everyone cares sincerely....yup....got a nice present from wanying =)

its the first time we celebrated xmas in venturing and its pretty good....haha....played a game of snake and ladder in cc in the morn. its being a long time i run and actually join in an activity! so its pretty excitng and the game is pretty fun =) my group came in ffirst! haha. ^^V the highlight of the day was nevertheless the dim sum buffet =.=''' the buffet was from 11.30am to last order at 2pm and we went ard 1.20pm so for the next 40min there we were madly ordering food and stuffing them all down by 3pm....and in total, we had 189 trays out of which 60plus trays came 30min before 3pm and this was only within 8 of us...crazy man...we were stuffing ourselves to the max and one of them even vomited! haha...crazy....all this torture for juz that miserable amount of money...i'll nv do it again o.O im gg to stay away from dim sum for the year...haha....anyway the other 2 tables had a sustainable amount of trays too...115 and 105 trays for both tables....woa...haha.....after all the food and gift exchange, went to slack ard w kin fai, kaixiong, zheng yang n yvonne in vivo...bought my xmas gifts then too =)

met up with justin in the morn. its been ages since i saw him. its like our annual meet up. hee...anyway nice catching up w him.
meet up with my jc friends in the evening too...its our annual xmas party cum stayover in nat's house for the 3rd consecutive years!!! so cool...im always looking forward to this every xmas and hopefully this tradition will always last. =) anyway there was me, nat, ma, zhong hong, yunfong n shishir!! haha...that 2pid shishir is back from canada and apparently he got eeven more stupid o.O haix...shant comment about his stupidity....hahaha......anyway had a great time this year!!! food was great and we stayed up till 7am++ to chit chat, play monopoly and slack...its great chatting with all of them!!!!! hahah.....had plenty of diaO questions too...so diaO =.= after which, a few of us went to watch "the curse of the golden flower". pretty overwhelming i would say considering all of us didnt really sleep much...haha....
yup! now that that stupid guy is back there'll b more meet up....yay! =)

was suddenly called in to aspire yesterday afternoon as they had a female candidate but no female leader around...was hesitating to go as i had decided last week not to go but i agreed in the end as i guess its really a last resort. so yar...went to cc for my March to Charity sub com meeting which only consists of 3 people not including me =.= but it wasnt so fruitful....went for dinner and its off packing for camp in ubin.
leon n eric came to pick me up at 9plus and off to the jetty and soon i was on the boat to ubin....pretty interesting experience as its my first time to ubin at night and i also had my first night cycling in ubin!!!!! hahaha.....so coool man....its like u cant even see your hands clearly in front of u but u juz whack and cycle!!!! omg!!!! it was so exciting.....hee....but alas didnt get to cycle long coz had to head back for the candidates...then it was a long thong-ing night for me, dennis n xiang hao as we tried to entertain each other around the campfire....oh man....i love the feeling of having a warm campfire in camp!!! its juz so comfortable and really make the camping atmosphere right! =) anyway had a great chat with two of them and even learn how to judge direction from the moon itself from dennis...cool!!! basically i didnt do much during camp as an instructor la....juz go there slack around and enjoy myself....diaO...haha
had a great chat with dennis on my way home too....it really got me thinking...leaders with diminished passion and starts to think what they r doing drags....how far can they bring the prog to their scouts...how much training should a leader get such that their scouts will really beenfit from scouting? mixed feeling...
anyway out of camp its back to the reality of books and projects and reports...its pretty suffocating i would say and im almost there to diaOing...some might say i shouldnt have gone for the camp at times liek this...but perhaps deep down im looking for an escape from all the things...but when back to reality again...i feel sianz...
when disappointment gets too frequent, will there actually be a time when u get immuned to that? i hope there will be a cap....

the last week was a stressful one man....tons of project to rush and loads of research to do to a point that i almost just gave up....everyday i go to school there'll be at least one project meeting and end off with research to do....it just get to a point that i diaO n go to meeting without research =.= y the rush? coz it clinical this week....so everyone is trying to rush to clear as much work as possible to reduce meeting time during clinical....haix....time time....give me more time o.O
had a scout camp in cc from fri till sat. muz say its a stressful yet enjoyable yet "expensive" camp. rough proh outline is

slideshow of past year activities(to recollect the previous batch of ventures contribution to the troop...i did it from 12am to 6am on fri morn =.= haha....but i guess i was running on adrenaline...reminiscing on the past activities and before long my dad opened my room door n i realised its 6am o.O haha)
CRISIS ONE (the alarm in cc rang off...diaO diaO diaO...luckily jeff, calvin, hubert n sock fong r still there...sock fong helped to switch off the alarm)
movie screening (lamester xiao bai long show....duno wat it was....juz abandon the movie to play bridge...haha)
CRISIS TWO (the diaO alarm went off again!!! diao diao diao diao...this time i was "alone" to face it...it was pretty stressful as before i can think of what happen i saw the police car on the opposite road....stress stress....got all the campers to stay in the dance room while i tackle the police...gave jeff a quick call and thankfully he replied promptly and assured me that he's on his way back (quite guilty act coz i heard he "initialD" from town to jurong to cc...the speed was those type that i thot he was coming to west coast from jurong on a normal speed=.=)...anyway back to the police...haha...first time encounter with police...pretty scary but luckily im a good girl in general so not that scared...they did a quick check and took down my particulars...haha....luckily nothing major happened and soon after they left, jeff, hubert n sock fong came along to deactivate the alarm)
ghost fire (though the intention was not to scare... the cc is not scary at all at night...but we had great fun trying to scare people esp with the pontantik music...haha)
debrief (diaO...their talk cock session but its pretty interesting how frank they are with each other)

kayaking!!! (1st time kayakng in jurong lake n its great! had some guerilla warfare games inside... chasing each other n everything...really hyped up the camp man...haha...diaO but it was an expensive one for me. i lost my teva sandals which is less than 6 months!!!!! and i was disfigured!!!! argghhhh....have to blame on my playfulness...both happened when i was attempting evil. 1st one was when i tred to pounch on someone to snatch the game item. 2nd one happened when i was trying to capsize someone n his paddle cut across my face o.O)
yup yup...after all fun its back to the stressful reality...omg...im gg for clinical in another 30min n i haven finish my research...i can go n die le...and there's a lot of proj dateline to meet and i haven finish!!! omg omg omg...n next year is coming and there's my march to charity to start on....omg omg omg.....haha....somehow as i type more i feel excited abt all the things undone....diaO...haha...guess m crazy to the extent that i thot 1hr 15 min before 7.45 is 6.15am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg!!!!!!!!!!!! i calculated wrongly n im still at home now!!!!!!!!!!11 i have to leave le.........OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is stupid....tata

shiok weekend man!!!! =D
went night cycling on friday night with jin hsien, edmund, yanwen and liting and we had great fun exploring the night scene in singapore! we started at ard 8 plus till next day 5plus in the morn. our travel route:

siplap area (its a food paradise! there's this me;'s place over there thats really cool and pretty! its a theme restuarant kinda thing where u enjoy your food in a garden setting...open air concept..)
indoor stadium (its gorgeous! esp tanjong rhu bridge...oh man...the scene is so pretty! haha...to all couples, its a good place to date ;D)

ORCHARD (its so cool to cycle in orchard!! such a different feeling cycling beside all the stores compared to when u are shopping and walking ard there....hee....though we were chased by the security guard @ far east plaza...it didnt kill the fun! the deco in orchard is so pretty!!!!!)

bedok reservoir (rest point! haha...was deciding whether to head back to ecp or continue to "the road of no return" @ changi...in the end its ECP coz everyone were pretty tired...then suddenly this old man near us burst out laughing...diaO scare me =.=)
ECP!!! (woa...i almost died when i had to cycle up languna flyover (i think)...its pretty steep and i can feel my quads strain when i was struggling to get up but the down slope was SHIOK!!! haha...its all worthwhile...next it was a free style along ecp when we chiong/leisurely cycle @ own pace)
ECP McDonald (slacked there from 5plus till 8am. had breakfast then started playing card games. but i wasnt that interested so fell asleep. the rest of them didnt sleep at all man! they were chatting happly when i woke up...power man!)
hee...after yest i feel that nothing is imopossible and exploration is fun!! sometimes u dont need a detailed pplan....u juz need a company of friends who's willing to explore and who's supportive and fun loving...that's the gang i had for this exploration trip and im grateful they came along. ^^V we explored based on interest and though there was fear of losing our way...we had trust in our first man to guide us to safety...but even if we did get lost...no one grumbled but helped to find the correct way...thats the spirit..."exploring within uncertainty, trust beyond ability" alhtough i may have exaggerated but thats the kinda spirit im searching and wanting to b involved in...hopefully the next exploration will come soon! =D oh ya...halfway through the explroation trip suddenly became an amazin race when chung ming came along to give us checkpoints to follow...haha...interesting how the format of the explration twisted...
after the trip took the long bus journey of 197 to sleep! haha...anyway i had wnated to go west coast cc to see if can meet jeff to lobang a ride but i ended up reading deathnote (haha...im addicted to the comic!) in je lib with a coffee n cheesecake! haha...thankfully jeff called and gave me n calvin a ride to PAYM convention in suntec. gurmit singh was a great host and the food was great! =D
exciting part came at ngiht...me, jeff, calvin n sock fong headed for the indoor stadium for WAKIN'S CONCERT!!! haha...so cool!!! its the first idol concert i attended and its great! there's so many people and wakin was so successful to build up the atmosphere...and i was surprised i can sing a deal of his songs man! haha...so many childhood songs from there! haha...towards the end, with all the fast songs....jeff and i were singing aloud man! think we might have irritated the people in front but it was fun!!! haha...stupidly i also joined in the crowd to wave to wakin whenever he came to our side...haha... i find his songs very sincere n moving...=D a special mention goes out to his violinist...li qng....he looked so shuai when he played his violin and he's really good at it! hee....oh yes! and there was a marriage proposal during the concert when wakin sang "ming tian ni yao jia gei wo ma?" haha...so funny and moving. =)
had a great night that ended with my long craved for "dou jiang you tiao" in geylang...haha...the dou hua is nice!!! hee...had a short tour around geylang upon my curious request and we wree pretty unlucky coz we saw the roti car drove past us before the trip...so only caught a glance at a couple...its interesting to see the other side of world there. haha....i guess jeff was pleased that yec chairman provide such educational trip =.=
a tiring yet fulfiling weekend! thanks to each individual to make up my weekend! have to get back to my piling proj now...tata
oh yes...after all the uni exam...its time to meet up people!!! jio me out....hee...looking forward to s06 meeting n more...and shishir nigam...come back faster! haha...i wan souvenir! =D
